Welcome to the newest issue of Fawlt.

The issue is "Three." But while it may be just a number, maybe it should be the theme of the issue as well. Both are odd, and some might say magical.

"Three" (the issue) also has three categories of wonderful writing: fiction, poetry and nonfiction. In the past, we have featured only modest selections of nonfiction—usually one or zero. In this issue, thanks to estimable new editor Nevin Martell, we’ve got lots, and all of it good.

You will also find some really great new pieces of fiction and poetry from writers we love, both established and relatively new. And some amazing photography from Nadja Hallström.

We hope you enjoy this issue as much as we enjoyed putting it together.
